Some Lucky Residents are now able to receive FTTP thanks to the Rural internet Voucher scheme
Thanks to the Rural Gigabite voucher scheme a large portion of the village are now able to access FTTP (Fibre to the Property) or Full Fibre as it is now known. The benefit of full fibre is that speeds don't drop over long distances due to the fact that the whole service is provided by Fibre Optic cables rather than by copper cable or part fibre part copper (FTTC) Fibre to the cabinet.
Speeds of up to 910 Mbps are available from some suppliers
To see if your capable of getting Full Fibre you can check here: https://www.bt.com/broadband/full-fibre
