Empathy & Eternity

Empathy and Eternity is a short film made by Cameron Evans about his father George's time as a WW2 evacuee in Boraston and Burford - and it will be showing in The Studio at The Regal in Tenbury on Saturday August 17th.  


George Evans’s first wartime placement was with the Head Gardener and his family at Burford House from 1940-42, before he moved to Boraston Mill, where he stayed with the Morris family until the end of the War.


Bobbie Matulja enjoyed working with Cameron and his friends when they came to film at Boraston Church and Boraston Mill in 2022, which both appear in the film


We have been told by Bobbie that she has Cameron's blessing to use the event as a fundraiser for the Boraston Church Fabric Fund - details to be forthcoming on this.
